DavidTheme is only the Creator all the type of themes with animation (Animated Themes, Flash Themes, Flash Dash Themes and Flash Themes Pro Themes) available throw this site and from our partners. So please consider the following guidelines a courtesy of DavidTheme and not a definitive help. In order to know all the possible details about the Installation of all the software players please contact directly the related developers (Netwas Ltd or Gigabyte Solutions Ltd), they'll prompty help you to solve all possible problem occured during the installation process.
THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
To install an Animated Themes, Flash Themes, Flash Dash Themes and Flash Themes Pro Theme and the related correct player you have to follow those 3 steps:
1.Install the Macromedia/Adobe free Flash Player 6.0 for pocketpc
- Connect your PocketPC to your desktop or laptop pc (with the dedicated cable or via wi-fi/bluetooth).
- Run Microsoft Active Sync (often it start automatically when the cable is in the usb plug).
[Note that if you have Windows Vista on your desktop or laptop pc you don't need to use active sync but you can use the "Windows Mobile center" integrated in the operating system].
- On your desktop/laptop double click on the Macromedia/Abobe Flash Player executable file (available here)
- It will be automatically installed from your desktop/laptop to your pocketpc.
2.Install the Software Player
To install Animated Today, Flash Themes Player 2007, Flash Dash Player and Flash Themes Pro Player you have to follow the same steps:
- DoubleClick on the executable file of your software player (.exe file received after the purchase of the Software Player) and it will automatically install the player on your device.
- Activate the Player. Go to Start > Settings > Today and then switch to the "item" panel. In the list there are many of the today screen plugin, included the plug in for the Players just added.
So:
A) if you've installed Animated Today enable the "Animated Themes" checkbox.
B) if you've nistalled the Flash Themes Player 2007 enable the "Flash Themes" checkbox and be sure that is at the last position of the list by using the "move down"button.
C) if you've installed the Flash Dash Player you can start it from Start > Programs.
D) if you've installed
the Flash Themes Pro Player do the same as point C).
3.Install The Theme
Whatever is your theme (Animated Theme, Flash Theme, Flash Dash Theme, Flash Themes Pro Theme), to install it on your device you have to:
- With active sync use the "explore" function to see the memory content of your PocketPc.
- Find the "My Documents" folder of your PockePc and then copy (for example with drag&drop) in it the THEME (.tsk file). An alternative is to copy the THEME in your storage card, by this way you'll leave the PPC memory free.
- Now you can simply select your new theme by clicking in Start>Setting>Today or from the Players software interface.
